Detailed Itinerary
In the morning reach Bagdogra airport or NJP then get transferred to Darjeeling around 75kms takes aout 3 hrs.Check-in at the hotel and enjoy the evening free, you can visit Nightingale Park by walking, overnight stay at the hotel.
Drive to Tiger hill early morning (4:00AM) to watch the spectacular sunrise over Mt. Kanchenjunga. Then visit to Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop. Post breakfast visit Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, P.N. Zoological Park,Japanese Temple, Tibetan Refugee self-help Centre, Tenzing Rock, Tea Garden. Evening free. Night stay at Darjeeling. * Some visiting places remain close once in a week.
Post breakfast in the morning Check Out and drive to Kalimpong at an altitude of 4100 feet. Around 57 KMs journey takes 2 hours approx. Hotel Check in. Again start for visiting near by places of Kalimpong, Dr. Graham's Home, Golf Garden, Mangal Dham, Durpin Dara Hills, Deolo Hill, Flowers Nurseries for rest of the day. Night stay at Kalimpong.
After having your breakfast, start driving towards Deolo. Deolo is beautiful hill station in North Bengal. Surrounded by lush green forests and gardens. Tea gardens, green lawns and colorful flowering trees adorn the layers of the mountain slopes. The view point from the hill top offers an unforgettable panoramic view of mountainous slopes. This beautiful nature park offers one of the best views of Mt. Kanchenjungha and River Teesta. Night stay at Deolo. (this Night Stay can be planned in Kalimpong also, in that case need to 10Kms drive to Kalimpong)
After breakfast at around 10:30AM check out from Kalimpong or Deolo and drive to NJP or Bagdogra around 80 KMs will take about 3 to 4 hrs.
