Detailed Itinerary
Upon arrival at the Delhi Airport or Railway station, transferred to the hotel pre-booked for your stay. Get freshen up and rest for while if you have time in hand. You have to take a overnight BUS journey from Delhi to Shimla. Get transferred to BUS stop and board the BUS.
After a overnight BUS journey from Delhi in morning you will reach Shimla. If you have plan to go by Train then also overnight Train journey in morning you will reach Kalka the nearest railway station from Shimla. First get transferred to hotel at Chail. 45 Kms from Shimla. After settling down, you can go for short sightseeing near Chail. Back to hotel, spend the day in doing the activities of your interest. Dinner and Stay overnight at Chail.
After breakfast, leave Chail for Sangla by road. Enjoy nice roadside beauty. Upon arrival, check into hotel. Relax for sometime and have Dinner. Stay overnight at Sangla.
Post breakfast, drive towards Chitkul, located around 20 kilometers away from the Sangla. It is the last village on the ancient Indo-Tibetan trade route. En-route, have lunch. Return to Sangla and Stay overnight.
After breakfast, start your trekking upwards to the Sangla meadows to see the Kinner Kailash range and roam around the glacier point. You can also go for adventure sports such as Para-gliding and angling, can do a bonfire in the evening. After full day excursion, come back Sangla and stay overnight there.
Post breakfast, drive towards Tabo from Sangla. Distance is around 178 KM takes about 6 hrs. On the way, explore Nako village. Check in at the hotel. Enjoy roam around the Himachal tribal circuit village. Stay overnight at Tabo.
In the morning, visit the Tabo monastery, which is around 1006 years old. Post lunch, explore the Pin Valley. Return to hotel and night stay at Tabo.
After breakfast, visit the Ki Monastery and Gete. Meet the local people, observe their lifestyle and have lunch. Later, drive towards Kaza. Upon arrival, check in hotel. Stay overnight at Kaza.
After breakfast, in the morning, drive towards Manali via Kunzum and Rohtang Pass. Upon arrival, check in hotel. Stay overnight at Manali.
After breakfast, go for sightseeing tour of Manali which include visits to Manu Temple, Hidimba Temple, Tibetan monasteries and Nehru Kund. Stay overnight at Manali.
Post breakfast, leave Manali for Chandigarh by road, distance is around 310 KM takes about 8 hrs. On reaching Chandigarh, check in hotel. Take rest Stay overnight at Chandigarh. Or get transferred to Airport or Railway Station if you have same day flight/train to catch. * Instead you can opt for Manali to Delhi or Chandigarh BUS to minimize expenses significantly.
